I realize that the sentences in this question and the earlier one are different, in that one has as the predicate an adjective (of negative evaluation) with a modifier indicating high-degree while the other has as the predicate an adjective indicating high degree (in reference to a negatively-evaluated state).
They don't seem to me, however, to be independent and distinct types of construction, but are just two instances of the same construction XXXことYYY (where XXXこと is a subject/topic-like nominal and YYY is a predicate), with different values for the variable YYY.
