@FelipeOliveira I had always heard that the use of hiragana or kanji for ください actually affected the meaning... koho.or.jp/useful/qa/hyouki/hyouki06.html Is there an argument against a difference in meaning?

I answered it with : 会社を休むこともある
But got it wrong, with a note telling me to use かもしれない instead.
I understand that you can answer with the かもしれない format, but wonder why こともある is incorrect.
These are examples I took from the internet :
金額いかんでは、その仕事を引き受けないこともあり...
"I'm very prone to be tired these days, so from time to time I take a day off work, depending on my health condition on a given day." 拙訳の全体的な出来は置いといて、少なくとも"on a given day"と動詞句に表せられる習慣性との間に齟齬は（恐らくは）ないように、原文にも「その日の体調」と「休むこともある」の間に不調和はないように感じますね。
Hmm... sort of yes, sort of no? You know, both "アレ" and "ナニ" are stand-ins for *linguistic expressions* which the speaker is refraining from saying explicitly or which are eluding them at the moment of (attempted) utterance. So "I'm at a loss for the word to describe it" is probably somewhat closer in meaning than "I don't know what it is".
