Yeah. This game in particular was Sega though, which is while the style of the music in there is reminiscent of the old consoles.

(The first version was on the Sega.)

I'm not an audio buff so I'm not sure how those channel counts come into play, but the music (on Lunar at least) sounded quite old on the Sega Saturn version.

Though, my favorite music does come from the SNES.

The translatey nature of it makes me kind of unsure

Or even too localized? I feel like the issue of how to translate volitional verbs like this isn't necessarily off topic, but since there's no real good way to do it.. it seems like asking about a certain sentence would be too localized

@ssb I think questions about translation are usually legitimate, because questions of translation usually reflect on the meaning of the Japanese language.

After all, a lot of people rely heavily on English while learning Japanese, especially early on, and for these people "help me translate this" sometimes means "help me understand"

and you can mix and match your 'saying' verbs

Dunno, if I was in Japan and my Japanese was good enough to talk with people, then I'd probably just look into taking a writing course somewhere. My composition skills are pretty awful.

It takes me ages to pull words out of my head right now (though I do usually get them eventually)

So speaking is rather hard for me unless I have a minute to think about what I'm going to say before I say it

(Probably due to all my practice being from typing on the internet)
