@Pandya Suppose after I have posted an answer to a Q, the Q was edited to an extent that my answer no longer is relevant then do you think my answer should be deleted? I don't think that that should be the case. So, I am still waiting for your response. Can you show some guidelines regarding such situations?

If you can show some rules which suggest that I need to update my answer then I will.

@Rickross Well, looking at original question your answer was partially answering the particular line of question which was the last line. And now as that line has been removed, your answer looks irrelevant. So, you may update it.

@Rickross There are no such hard rules except some reasons cited at help center

@Pandya Yeah that is what I am asking. At the point I posted my answer, I was answering the Q (even if partially). Now, if someone changes the Q why should my answer needs to be updated?
