I flagged this comment as no longer needed as it is a irrelevant thing to ask under the answer here. One should ask this under Milind's answer on the Bharat Mata Q in the Main but not there where it was posted. The flag was declined. I want to know why it was declined.
@Pandya, if there is nothing wrong in saying that "Vaishnava-s should worship to Vishunu", "Shaivaites should worship to Shiva"? Then why do you have objection in "Indians should worship to Bharat mata".
@iammilind BTW u may have noticed that I posted a comment under ur Q. But that's not to be found now. I have just said in it that it seems someone is not allowing u to write what u want to write.. What's the matter here? Are u writing something that is forbidden to write? Sorry but I can not understand anything.
@Pandya I would also like to know why my comment was deleted. Asking only u because The Destroyer is seemingly not active.
@iammilind Oh but how it was irrelevant? I was talking about the content of ur post.
@iammilind What about this? ----- "What's the matter here? Are u writing something that is forbidden to write? Sorry but I can not understand anything."
@Rickross Not sure. It seems that multiple users may have flagged it. Only @Pandya can say why did he find irrelevant. I have also flagged some other comments, which are totally irrelevant. Waiting for resolution. e.g. hinduism.meta.stackexchange.com/questions/1403/…
> Regarding the revision in the answer ---- What's going on there??? I think someone is just not allowing u to write what u want to write.. How is this admissible? I am not sure what's going on here LOLZ.. @iammilind – Rickross 1 hour ago
@Pandya That post says that "The site is about Christianity, and not for Chrisitians alone". Same things applies to Hinduism. But why are you targetting on this small post's 1 sentence. Aren't both different matters
Oh now understood so that's the only reason for the edit war? Then can u not convert t slightly to saying something different but keeping in ur intent somewhat unaltered? I think it depends on ur cleverness. @iammilind
@Pandya Yes this comment is deleted. But my first consideration is to know why my flag was declined.
A question from a Mod starts as below: https://hinduism.stackexchange.com/q/7971/1049
> It is well-known that the Sri Vaishnava sect (of which I am a member) emphasizes the path of Sharanagati or complete surrender to the lotus feet of Vishnu,
@Pandya I don't have any problem with that and neither anyone should have as it's well known fact. Is that objectionable, or would you like to edit that out?
@Pandya If u are a mod then ur saying so is convincing because u can know what's the case. If a non-mod is answering then he can cite something that enables us to verify that what is being said is true or not.
@Pandya I want to know why flag was declined. It is an off-topic comment to post under that Meta post. It was ok to post the same comment under Milind's answer on Main though.
@Rickross see the comment from moderator of other site. Sarvabhouma is right but he may need to add some reference. Ask in comment. (or I'll update the existing answer)
Well, I believe that you should NOT. But however, if you want really to do then I can help you by flagging it. The person who was commanding you elsewhere is merely a college/school student. Don't be intimidated by their dominance.
@Rickross it doesn't matter if it's a mod or not. Are you looking for an answer or not? You can consider Ankit's comment ad source. It is known that these are private and no one sees. See your own profile.
Don't bring countries and patriotism into our site. Sectarian differences are enough. There are parts where you talked about India and related things and pointed users in meta answer. What is the need of that? Why did you bring all that? @iammilind
@iammilind I'm talking about the same. There is " thou shall promote no god" and against adding follow a sect or way.
No further discussion required about that I believe
> It is well-known that the Sri Vaishnava sect (of which I am a member) emphasizes the path of Sharanagati or complete surrender to the lotus feet of Vishnu,
Personally I don't find anything wrong with above. Do you?
@iammilind No. Like " I recommend Sri vaishnava sect. It is the best way and everyone irrespective of belief should follow it. " there was much drama about it. Wasn't it? We are not getting into mudslinging here.
@Pandya Other way is that you yourself edit the line in the way Keshav has written then it will become legitimate. Is that fine with you?
@Pandya, how about this: *"It's well know fact culturally that Indians should devote themselves to Bharat mata, irrespective of their caste, religion, etc."*
@Pandya That comment is now deleted. So u admit that declining my flag was the wrong thing done? I think it's u who have handled it on both the occasions since The Destroyer is inactive.
@Pandya In one of your Meta posts u are openly declaring all posts of a certain user as "low quality posts". Is it not violating any of the policies? You have not taken any particular user's name but it's evident about whom that was meant. So, isn't that considered as rude? Specially coming from a Mod of the site? According to new COC it's definitely unfriendly if not anything else. How about me asking about that on Meta.SE?
@TheLittleNaruto The Destroyer is highly active usually. It is only today that I have found him as being not so much active. I am not sure if it was the same yesterday too or not. But generally it is highly surprising if we find him being inactive.
"It's well know fact culturally that Indians are devoted towards Bharat mata, irrespective of their caste, religion" This can be acceptable.. If u add "should" that's not acceptable i think.. but then here some people mite ask what's the proof of ur statement? @iammilind
But i think that discussion is now over so we can leave it and move on? I mean the long discussion that u guys had on that Bharat Mata post.
@iammilind If we are saying what a person should do and what he should not do, that is deciding and dictating. We are no one to say what one should on our site. We are just a Q&A site about Hinduism. That is the reason the motto "Thou shall..." was added.
allowing something and not allowing other is partiality and it is much dangerous. So, let's not add anything of that sort.
@Rickross this is about site's policy in one of the faq... you might not read that answer by Be Happy. Have a look at it to know what we are talking about.
