I know people hate mono-blue tempo, and a lot of control players play quite slowly on Arena, so I've mixed things up here by doing a Dimir deck and I try to play reasonably quickly.
(I've had more than one player concede the moment Haughty Djinn hits the board)
(and yes, these are the LTR full-art map lands I'm using here)
Is 24 lands too few for a control deck?
(even after accounting for card draw and filtering)
...dropped a Shore Up for a third Essence Scatter.

It feels weird to be the one playing control. I have had several opponents just concede out of frustration.

It's insane that in this Standard environment, one untapped Island is all it takes to say "nope!"
(Haughty Djinn cost reduction and loads of counterspells that cost {1}{U}, even if they're restricted or soft counters)
