@doppelgreener do you think "Why is there no werewolf commander precon deck for Midnight Hunt?" In scope for this site? I feel like it is, want to double check

@AncientSwordRage That's a mixed bag. There's concrete reasons why they chose not to print one. But such a question's labouring under the assumption that somehow there should be one, when the choice is totally arbitrary. But lots of people are laboring under that assumption. But we think that because Midnight Hunt was pitched to us as Innistrad: Werewolves which was a screw-up to begin with.
if such a question were to work, i'd ask it under the community premise explicitly: "Lots of people in the community are confused why Midnight Hunt didn't come with a Werewolf commander precon, especially when this was the set introduced as Innistrad: Werewolves. Is there any particular motivating factor behind Wizards of the Coast not publishing such a precon?" and self-answer with the logistical explanation and marketing screw-up explanation

@doppelgreener yeah yeah I should have said, my intention is a rigourous self answer
Rigourous self answer sounds wrong but I hope you know what I mean

yeah i think that'd be the workable way
that and acknowledging the community expectation as part of the question

@AncientSwordRage You'd definitely need to word it carefully, because as that stands it sounds like it's asking for people's opinion, why (we think) they didn't do a werewolf precon - generally topics about why a game did a specific thing can stray into that territory, and "opinion based" is a fairly common close condition
You could certainly point to Some of what Maro has said about it if you're planning to self answer.

@Andrew as well as Gavin's video on it
@Andrew I'll be extra careful to steer away from that
