This question might need some moderator loving as it appears to be twisting the facts about what is being asked in a meta question about another question on the main site.

Q: Can one effectivly copy a game withotu infringing copyright?

David SiegelIf one wants to create a "clone" or a "knock-off" og a game can it be done lawfully? That is, can one create a game that is highly similar if not identical in playing experience, but is sufficiently different there there is no copyright or trademark infringement? I assume the game is not patented...

The question title and body also seem to be conflicting with each other.
It appears to be asked and self answered after I posted comments on the answer to my meta question disagreeing with the logic behind the answer
Trying to justify creating a copy of a game instead of buying one

That question seems to mostly exist on its own, and it doesn't really matter if it's asking the same thing as the linked meta question. The bigger issue I think is that this isn't the site for legal expertise. We don't have the expertise to answer the question or evaluate an answer.
OK, from what I have found on meta, we have consistently treated legal questions as off topic in the past, so I'm closing that question.
