(that all said, "they were waiting for MID to update" is a good theory, has precedent with commander decks, and is what we'd have hoped for; it was the exchange with April and Tabak that made me think it wasn't happening, and I'm genuinely surprised they've chosen this direction)

@doppelgreener What they should do now is have a separate document that covers digital only rules maybe a DR addendum to the CR. If it were up to me that would have the same number structure as the CR, meaning a LOT of number gaps, but would have say D702.1 Seek etc - there definitely DOES need to be official explanation of the rules mechanics that are only digital somewhere. there DOES need to be a CR expansion to the fight rules to explain winning the fight, I can see that condition moving to paper

@Andrew I could imagine a section 10 covering Arena-only rules, coming after the multiplayer rules and casual variants sections.

@doppelgreener It would be a good way to handle it too, there's at least 3 good ways to handle it we talked about here but so far it looks like they plan on taking option 4 - do nothing :(
