I'm new to Magic so I don't have many cards on hand, though I've been reading extensively about the game the last several months. Something about M20's Lotus Field caught my eye:

Turn 1: Forest, Llanowar Elves.
Turn 2: Lotus Field, Repudiate.

This gives you five mana on turn 3, and likely six if you have another land card in hand.

How viable is this line of play?
