I don't mind, there doesn't seem to be any competitive advantage to any of these cosmetics.
Even if you buy the fancy 3D cards you need to already have the card in your collection in order to use it.
ie: you can't just drop hundreds of dollars to buy out all the rares, you still need to open them in packs or spend wildcards
Oh and you can win them in special events, there is a free event coming up soon that provides chemisters insight (?I think?) for winning a single game, and then something else and the chemister's for winning 5 games.

So a bit different from previous events, seems you won't actually get the cards, just the styles
(also means you won't need to grind out four 5 win runs to get a playest of chemisters)
