@Jefromi Have to disagree with your comment on the edits to Mary's canasta questions. If you have played canasta, perhaps the game was clear, I never have, so the terms involved definitely don't make the game clear.

If you're talking about when I said to just edit: I saw people noting that the question was unclear because they didn't know what game it was, and then the OP clarified what game it was, and no one edited.

Double-checking, here's what you posted:

It's not a huge deal or anything but yeah, if you know what the OP should do, you might as well just do it.

Yes perhaps I could have made the edit myself, but she does need to understand how to edit her questions, I count 4 questions from two accounts with her same name asking the same thing

or very similar things.

A nice way to do it is to edit and explain what you did and that they can do it themselves too.

The extra questions, yes, she obviously doesn't really grok the site and who knows if she will, but in my experience it goes a lot better if we do what we can to help them out, so they don't feel like they're just getting ordered around.

It's fine if you don't always have time, of course.

I think I did address the other questions, and if she keeps posting dups the system will just automatically question-ban her, so... it'll work out one way or another.

I know you can earn at least mild rate-limiting with only a couple questions. If she actually does anything really bad, of course we'll take action.

But generally we prefer to help people on the first try, and if they do something bad, warn them.
