i found out the problem was the question titles had a 1px white text-shadow in css, i removed it

i couldn't reproduce this on OSX Firefox, but I was able to see it on Firefox windows. it could be an OS rendering issue related to FF I'm guessing

it seems to happen in Firefix when: 1) background has a color + 2) text has text-shadow set to white + 3) parent div has opacity less than 1

@TsuyoshiIto btw are you seeing the question title(on homepage) as light still as @SureshVenkat sees?

if a lot people still think the question title colors are still too light, i'll change it more

although on my monitor(Which is calibrated) the unvisited links are a very dark blue now

I see the color has been darkened (today?). I do not think that it is too light for me.

Or maybe the change is because I adjusted the gamma correction (seeing your link).

In any case, I do not think the current color is too light as long as I am concerned.

ok i did make the title darker lastnight. but if it's still a problem for a lot people i'll change it more
