@theGRAPKE if you see this, didn't want to start a discussion. I'm not sure R' Wosner's explanation - which as you said is obvious - contradicts mine. I will point out the big deal the maamarim make about Avraham's test of the Akeda, which was the one test that was for him to mashlim his chesed.
