Can anyone translate the phrase "hara ma-bar"? It might be more than one language.

@Nick "Where does mother scold?"
hara = where, in Azerbaijani
ma = mother, in English
bar = does scold, in Latvian
Happy to help.

@msh210, Google translate?

2:58 PM
@Nick where'd you see the phrase?

I wasn't getting anywhere with google. Hara is also" bad" isn't it, like in leshon hara? It might also also be ma-rar? Which is a tribe in the United Arab Emirates or also a term for temple musicians, but also means to go crazy. Hara is also an early name for Shiva, but sometimes refers to an energy field near one's navel, that some religions believe to be the core or essence of a person's self or soul.
So the best I could come up with was, "corruption of a person's energy field causing them to go crazy?".

It would be helpful if you showed where you saw the phrase, what's the context of the phrase?

It was spoken in a dream.

3:33 PM
@Harel13 No, I looked up the individual words in English Wiktionary.
@Nick Then, more than likely, it's nonsense.

@Nick if so, then any interpretation goes. If you read it backwards, you get Raba-Marah, which means Raba, the master in Aramaic. Rabbah the Emorah was indeed a great master.

4:11 PM
If asked, "Where does mother scold?" in a spiritual context, what would the answer be?

4:39 PM
Presumably one on one (at most, in the presence of the father), so as to not humiliate the child in public.

Q: RTL support on MY

Zev SpitzThe Stack Exchange is gradually planning on moving to CommonMark. AFAICT CommonMark doesn't support any form of explicit RTL direction. What is the current state of RTL on MY? How will SE's plans affect MY?
