Hey is it alright to ask a question about what sins jesus committed from a rabbinical/pharisaic perspective?

@Akiva Not worded like that. Nobody here is privy to his life, to know what he did. If you want to discuss specific types of actions and ask whether they're sinful and under what category of sin, I think that could be a good question. Search first, though: I think we may have this one already.

Well, a compilation of potential sin. For example, one could make the argument, that he did not fulfill the commandment of having children. That falls into a category of sin, does it not?

I use the midrash pertaining to King Hezekiah (I think?) where he is chastized by an angel for not having children, even though Hezekiah knew that Manessah would bring forth a tremendous amount of evil.

@Akiva How would you ask such a question? "What are some possible sins this guy 2000 years ago might have committed?"? You'll get in reply a list of all sins. Doesn't work.

@msh210 Yeah, it isnt exactly straightforward to compile a list with an SE site... What about: Of the 613 Mitzvot, which did Jesus fail to keep?

@Akiva You’d have to phrase it in such a way that it’s not A) comparative religion (people around here aren’t necessarily familiar with Christianity such that they can answer such a question properly); B) too broad; C) opinion-based; D) able to be answered (see msh’s comments)
