If anyone is curious (as I was) about how much their rep score improved in the SO scoring update, you can still see your old score on Meta MY...at least until it catches up over there.

So, they're really concerned that people asking questions don't get the credit they deserve for the time and effort they put into asking a well-thought-out question, but they're still okay with gaslighting and mudslinging Monica? When are they going to get their priorities straight?

@DonielF Indeed. But… "gaslighting"? Doesn't that mean "making someone think he's going nuts"? Goes to look it up…

@DonielF IMO, SE's attention to monitoring and improving the Q&A model is well-spent, while their firing and besmirching of Monica and ongoing refusal to repair the harm they've caused are unethical and short-sighted. I maintain a great deal of respect and gratitude for the thoughtfulness SE puts into the engine and that some of their staff puts into the community, while I have lost a great deal of trust in the company's status as an ethical entity.

... and I acknowledge that the impact of the latter is in danger of overwhelming that of the former, in the long run.
