This question was merged with this question, stating that the former is an exact duplicate of the latter. However, the former asks why God cares about details while the latter seems to explicitly state that it is not asking why God cares about details (rather why the rabbis did). @msh210 @Alex we can't reverse the merge, but the question that was merged was also pretty brief and from a user who's no longer around (so he's not going to improve it). Feel free to ask a new question.
