@IsaacMoses for our other sites' top user swag packages, we typically do the standard site branded tshirt+stickers. Mi Yodeya is our first site with a strong cultural identity and we wanted to do something more appropriate and special. I added a 3rd item(the mini poster). After some more thoughts, we think instead of the tshirt, a Mi Yodeya custom boxed Havdalah candle is more appropriate. I don't have a mockup for the candle box yet. I'll try to post one as soon as I get something from our printshop. — Jin ♦ Oct 4 '12 at 21:24

@Daniel The candle lasted about a month over 2 years, then (if you got it around the same time that question was posted)

@Shokhet well they weren't delivered until a few months after that post and I had a different candle that I finished off before going to this one

@Shokhet The meta post has a thingy about saving some for future special events. Maybe we should blitzkreig meta with special event suggestions until someone just sends us one to quiet us down.

@Shokhet, on review, I see that all of the six questions I seeded mi.yodeya with before opening it to any other users were either product-recommendation or how-to. I really thought that that would be the main focus of the site.

... but as soon as I let other people in, they immediately started morphing the site. The first time a real question got answered, it was a Halacha one.
