Well here are my fundamental early thoughts on this, which I still would advocate for. A question about explaining theories of a non-Divine Torah seems to me to be in a similar category to my example answer "Don't worry; the laws of lashon hara don't apply anymore." It doesn't seem like a good basis for discussion about Judaism, on [a mutually coherent sense of] Judaism's terms.
