It looks like my comment responding to @DoubleAA about how people being too tired to stay awake on question judaism.stackexchange.com/q/106713/3483 got deleted. I don't usually like to quibble about such things, but I think it was a valid response in plain English. A different comment points to the m'faresh to Tamid 28 which I looked up and seems to be about when people have an overwhelming or irresistible urge to sleep.
I appreciate that comment as it is sourced and relevant, but the language makes it somewhat obscure. I don't like to see plain English being deleted while technical jargon stays because I think it makes this site harder to understand for the average Am Ha'aretz (like me).
I like to look up the technical definitions and translate stuff, but there are plenty of semi-educated Jews that do not, and I think it is a good thing to keep this site accessible (without losing rigor, of course). Does this make sense or am I making a big deal out of nothing?

@Mike, I was removing chat from the comments. DoubleAA's original proposal that one simply stay awake I kept as a pointer toward a possible answer. Your reply that that can be difficult, and his response to that, don't help anyone answer your question so I deleted them. My reply to him also doesn't, and I was planning to delete it once he'd seen it, which I'll do now. (Really I shoulda just replied to him here rather than in a comment.)

@Mike If there is some mitigating circumstances requiring the person to go to sleep then that should be clarified in the question. Right now it just sounds like they're tired. If I'm hungry I can't eat pork. If I'm starving in a desert, I can. Your question sounds like the former case. If you meant something more like the latter case then you should clarify. For most people staying up an hour past their bedtime is a bit annoying but not at all dangerous, which was the premise of your Q

Q: What does מיללעליכט mean in this Responsa?

samIn Shu"t HaElef Lecha Shlomo 1:116 it mentions a type of light called מיללעליכט and I am having a hard time deciphering what type of light it is. Only thing that came up was a light bulb called the light mill, but the year it came out doesnt seem to correspond with Rav Shlomo Kluger's age. It als...
