How to understand this date?
ב' ח' שבט תרפ"ב
What do the first 2 letters stand for?

Isaac Moses
@hazoriz I suspect it's Yom Sheini (Monday), 8 Shevat 5682. That date
was indeed a Monday
.
hazoriz
@IsaacMoses thank you
Isaac Moses
@hazoriz you're welcome
Alex
@hazoriz @IsaacMoses I think it's more likely that 'ח is an abbreviation for חודש, for two reasons: 1) If you look at the other letters, they don't mention the day of the week. 2) Some of the other letters say ב' ר"ח שבט תרפ"ב e.g.
this one
Isaac Moses
@Alex I think I'm right. Rosh Chodesh Shevat 5682
was also a Monday
, and
was only one day
.

@IsaacMoses You are probably correct. See, for example,
this letter
which says ד' יו"ד שבט תרפ"ב which would be Wednesday the 10th of Shevat.
