So there are a bunch of people "in" the IRC room you're talking about, but there's no chatting going on there either. Here, you can @ddress anyone who's been here recently, and they'll get pinged the next time they visit Mi Yodeya, so it's like anyone who's been here recently is not far.

@IsaacMoses (and all, really) is a question about why the Artscroll Talmud has received haskamos and praise from all sectors of orthodoxy whereas other translations are ignored at best in scope? I suspect the reason is Jewishly based (but I don't really know what that reason might be) but maybe it's just politics.

@yoel I'd say so. Regardless of the reason, it affects learning.
