Q: Let's design a paper flyer for promoting Mi Yodeya!

Isaac MosesNow that we have a name and a logo, we can make promotional materials featuring our identity to help people spread awareness of Mi Yodeya to new audiences. Let's design a paper flyer (presumably, but not necessarily 8.5" X 11") that people can print out and hang on bulletin boards in the synagog...

Why did Curiouser get all those badges? Did someone merge the two users the wrong direction?

@DoubleAA I doubt direction would matter. And yes, I merged them.

@msh210 I bet it does matter. The current (and only remaining) user number is very high and is a newly created account. When the new user inherits all those questions it gets badges for them. I bet the system doesn't transfer ownership of the badges specifically. It just lets the badge scripts run as usual and everything catches up.
Do you have a different explanation for all the badges?

@DoubleAA I just noticed that (and came here to ask :-) ). So there was more than one Curiouser and they got merged?

@MonicaCellio A few days ago he started with a new account with the same name, likely by accident somehow.

@DoubleAA If the newer user got the nice-question badge now for question #whatever, then that means the old user had 10 votes on it, so had the badge already. So he had the badge, merely under the other account. Had I merged the other direction, he'd still have the badges, hey merely wouldn't showup now in the newly awarded badges list.
At least I think that's right.

@msh210 Yes that's what I was saying.
Whatever. It seems we agree.

This works for Mi Yodeya too:

A: Hidden features of Stack Overflow?

akdomAttached Firefox/Internet Explorer search plugin. In Firefox, when you are on Stack Overflow, just click on the search dropdown (to the left of the search text field) and hit Add "Stack Overflow". EDIT: SO-family sites now also support OpenSearch, as described in this question.
