Re the questions, see blog.stackoverflow.com/2008/11/stack-overflow-is-you: "... Funny stuff. We do prefer that questions on Stack Overflow stay on the topic of programming, but as Joel and I have discussed before on the podcast, this is somewhat subjective, and it’s OK to err on the side of 'fun' every now and then. Not all the time, mind you, but occasional peripherally related digressions that the community enjoys (and upvotes) are perfectly fine. ..."
While the purim-torah-in-jest questions are not particularly upvoted, they do have several answers, so I think they're okay. (But I'm biased, of course.)

@msh210 Yeah, my attitude is along those lines as well. I think I'd prefer to keep it circumscribed to on and around Purim and clearly tagged. If it ever gets out of hand, we can curtail as necessary (most likely, on a case-by-case basis).
They just upgraded our "Ask Question" link to red and underlined

@IsaacMoses Did they? I noticed they changed it to red and underlined. (I forget what it looked like before, though.)

@msh210 "Upgrade" is merely my evaluation. It looks like it's a system-wide change. (Black and plain.)

@IsaacMoses I seem to recall its looking different from the links next to it, though....
Amazing how you can't describe something you see daily, yet you know when it's changed.
s/you/I/g

@msh210 sure, me too
I just happened to have a tab open from before the change (don't any more)

@IsaacMoses I'll agree with "upgraded". It should be emphasized over the links next to it. Or at least distinguished from them.

There are probably a few untagged riddles floating out there. If you see them, please close them.
