To restrict the results to one site, I simply enter site:URL as a part of the query? Like here, where I entered $x^2+y^2=z^2$, site:math.stackexchange.com?

@WeiZhong: It is very difficult to edit the logical operators in a query (e.g. change "AND" to "OR") because dollar signs are then inserted automatically and the cursor jumps to the end of the query.

@MartinR Do you edit in the raw query or in the entry field. (So far I have almost exclusively used raw query - I assume that is more suitable for anybody who already knows MathJax. At least for entering formulas - I'll have to learn about the new features.)

@MartinSleziak I always use the raw query field. But I have problems with editing the raw query in the new version. Can you replace "OR site:..." by "AND site:..." in approach0.me/search/…?

I see - the dollars that appear cause a problem.

The only thing I was able to do was Ctrl+X on "site:math.stackexchange.com", then editing OR to AND, and than pasting it back.

This avoids the problem with the dollars, but it is cumbersome. (And if I have to actually use this at some point, I will certainly forget to do this.)

Perhaps the “add dollar signs automatically” feature can be improved for the new search engine. Otherwise I probably would prefer to not having it.

i see, i will think about this and improve the UI later. I am planing my travel to Canada now, i will be pretty busy and unsettled for the next a few weeks.

@MartinSleziak if you do not prepend AND before the keyword, it just rewards MSE data source, but not necessarily all of the returned results will be from MSE.
