@LeakyNun Those are planned for v2; tio.run actually has them already. It's a bit more difficult for TIO though, as test suites for different languages will look rather different. It's a burden for URL-based permalinks as well, which are practically limited to a few thousand characters.

@PhiNotPi I know Node well enough well so I can make an offline version of QFTASM but I'm not sure how it would perform output operations (I'm assuming input is done by a direct write to RAM?)
03:44
@ASCII-only exactly my thoughts. TIO needs output and it's not clear what output of QFTASM is supposed to be
Well, you can provide arbitrary imput and output at specified locations, but since those features are built into the interface instead of the language, there is no way to control input/output right now
04:42
I got some clarification, and the guy who requested a TIO version of the compiler, just meant something that would run on the Java TIO page.

@Dennis How about adding BBC BASIC?
07:13
@Adám omg. when this came around?
last time I looked at it (which was not all that long) there were no free version and there was no linux verxion
@Adám since it's SDL it's not likely to work without X, did you try it?
07:33
@AndrewSavinykh No. I'm a Windows user…
08:00
@Adám is there a command line UI on windows?
@AndrewSavinykh Yes.
When I start this thing on linux it exits immideately, bbcsdl -? or bbcsdl --help also show nothing (
no error or whatnot
@AndrewSavinykh :(
may be Dennis is able to wrestle it into submission
08:20
@Adám even on windows I cannot find out how to run without UI. any pointers?
@AndrewSavinykh Sorry, I know nothing about it (or BASIC). I just noticed that it was missing when a BBC BASIC answer to my challenge was posted.
but you said that there were a command line UI for that. okay then
08:56
Lol there are rather interesting installation instructions
sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386
sudo apt-get update -y
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade -y
sudo apt-get remove gnome-control-center unity-control-center -y
sudo apt-get install libglapi-mesa:i386 -y
sudo apt-get install libegl1-mesa:i386 libegl1-mesa-drivers:i386 -y
sudo apt-get install libgl1-mesa-glx:i386 -y
sudo apt-get install libsdl2-2.0-0:i386 -y
sudo apt-get install libsdl2-ttf-2.0-0:i386 -y
sudo apt-get install gnome-control-center unity-control-center -y
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop -y
09:08
@AndrewSavinykh Sorry, I misunderstood you completely.
09:22
@Dennis Can you please pull Brachylog?
10:19
@Dennis Would be neat if the code-golf submission used inline links, so two submissions could be pasted into the same post. E.g. codegolf.stackexchange.com/a/119746/43319

@Fatalize Done.
@Adám Right, I remember now that we talked about this before.
Feb 28 at 17:00, by Dennis
@DJMcMayhem Would a unique identifier solve your problem? I mean something like [Try it online!][TIO-abc] followed by [TIO-abc]: https://tio.run/....
Added to my to-do list.
@Dennis Ah, sorry for repeating it.
Sorry for forgetting. ;)
My to-do list is an actual list now, so forgetting stuff will be harder.
Thanks!
14:39
@Dennis Is it public?
Not at this point, no.

5 hours later…
20:08
@Adám It's a bit uncomfortable (at least for me) to have a public list, because as we can see on the example of indie developers people tend to take those items as commitments. They are not. They are just a tool to organize stuff better. Them may never get done, or take very very long and what not. Even if you put such a disclaimer it people still get upset and I still feel bad about it
Keeping it private avoids this whole mess altogether
@AndrewSavinykh Completely understandable. I was just curious. It wasn't a request.

@Dennis This might sound a tad crazy but is it possible to download a copy of TIO? I want to iterate through each language for a task and I need more than 60 seconds
@ConorO'Brien you can download docker container (give feedback if you do I just built it)
docker pull tryitonline/tryitoffline
@ConorO'Brien read this before using: github.com/TryItOnline/tiodocker
timeout is in /srv/etc/run if you'd like to increase that
23:28
@Dennis I was browsing TIO's git I see that there are some tests in the language's JSON may I add a series of other test cases to it?
@Dennis @AndrewSavinykh say I have a string S is there any way to call TIO in language X with that String S in the code box by only typing a URL in?
