Everyone, I have embarked on an ambitious project. The project is inspired by Lilypond. Much as I like Lilypond , I find that it is hard to use for non-programmers. I am anexperienced programmer, but even I found it hard to figure out many things and had to rely on the ever helpful people at music.stackexchange. I want to take the idea of text based notations to the web. I have put together a basic version: poc.letsnotate.com.

This has a long way to go before it becomes usable. I am curious what do you people think about it ? It is far from stable, but should give a pretty good idea about what I am attempting.

@kargirwar You should have a look at ABC Notation (and ABCjs), it’s a lot like LilyPond but much simpler.
