DomCan we have the option to toggle on and off jTab? As it is right now if there are any note names in code blocks turn into guitar chords and this site is about so much more than guitar chords. I just went to a library only to find they had not a single book on Harmony.
What do they think they are? A place for kiddie books and all the lastest blockbusters?
Finding any academic material in a library these days is next to impossible. When you do find an occasional academic book, it hasn't been checked out in forty years

Yeah, I remember there being a few popular questions about fingertips -- clearly an important topic for guitar players

Yep, mostly about calluses (developing them or not, and dealing with the pain until you do).
I've got them, and my fingers are generally OK, but sometimes they get small splits or rough edges that develop into splits (because I bite them)

Ouch... just this week, I actually started picking up my guitar after a few years without playing
after the first day's session of 1-2 hours, my fingertips were tingling for the entire next day, practically until my next session

Yep, I know how that goes!
I played a bit in my early twenties, just picked it up again recently.
Setting up my guitars and getting some practice in has helped a lot, but last night I tore up my fingers again.
