@aldy505 For the visuals - yes (our lead singer is a huge Kiss fan)

for the sound...not so much. My influences are Floyd, Purple, Hendrix, Zeppelin, Clapton etc

Bass influences: Cake, Red Hot Chilli Peppers etc

Drums: Prodigy, club, house, techno...

it's a different combination...

@RoryAlsop the overdrive (that i heard in 'Useless'), not getting sounds into metal. Just kinda noise which I can't hear clearly the riffs.

@aldy505 that one was a horrible sound, actually. We have fixed that since (our sound guy on the tour really knew his stuff)

@RoryAlsop Well alright hahaha. Have you ever used/tried talkbox with your band?

@aldy505 I used to use a talkbox in an old covers band I had, but there are a range of things we don't use with Metaltech. We all have other projects where we use odd things (like theremin, acoustic fretless instruments, violins etc)

@aldy505 I think on that one it's the quality of the mic recording it :-) For our documentary we obviously used audio from the desk. These videos are mostly taken by audience or staff members

@Dom what do you think about that? Critics on the song arrangement maybe?

@aldy505 In my opinion, it sounded like some parts were too busy. I know it seems strange, but sometimes playing less will give you a better overall sound. It also sounds like some harmonies didn't quite line up the best. Overall it was good, but I will tell you from experience you can always make it better.

@Dom about the performance?

@aldy505 It was very good. Especially how everyone was kind of synced up. The only thing I would critique is try to look at your guitar less. This is a problem for a lot of musicians, but it adds so much to the performance if you look at the crowd instead of your guitar.
