@Aaron Sonar has one of the easiest learning curves I have ever come across. I did need to go to Cubase eventually, but Sonar was good for me for many years

@RoryAlsop That looks promising. SONAR is still available, but the new versions are now called Cakewalk (Windows only, unfortunately for me). The same company also has a web-based app called BandLab that looks like it could fit the bill. And it's free. Free is good.
