Q: Why do people say "you are a little flat" and never "you are are a little sharp"?

idoberIs there a tendency to sing flat when singing out of tone? NOTE: I am not a native speaker of English

Yeah, should probably be tagged voice, I don't have edit permissions yet. But a tag synonym isn't a bad idea...
