I thought of combing somehow supertabular for spliting in pages and landscape in order to rotate it...
I don't know how to achieve it or if there is another better solution.

@PauloCereda Phew. I am just being hyper-sensitive then. (There was a question on the school board: "How many things can we count with our fingers?" I was going to say "32" but then I noticed the font so corrected myself to "5" - figured "4" would also be courting controversy.)

@egreg You don't think multi-column landscape tables with as many vertical rules as possible are a good idea? Maybe I should suggesting using hhline and giving the rules a rainbow colour effect to ease your eyes?
@DavidCarlisle So long as Comic Sans is not used, also color gradients as column background and rainbow colored rules can improve the appearance.

@PauloCereda you have a mac: point safari at mozilla.org/projects/mathml/demo/texvsmml.html The implementation isn't brilliant but a good first stab, the new webkit code fixes a lot of issues and will be pushed to safari but this time also hopefully chrome.
@PauloCereda by the way, on the poster, the logo DIAS with the eagle is my original design, I also re-did the full vector logo of my university with Federico II and the special font used

@PauloCereda Of course! With fontspec loaded fonts for XeLaTeX and LuaLaTeX one should specify the option Ligatures=TeX for this to work, but using the actual character is easier. Also with \usepackage[utf8]{inputenc} in (pdf)LaTeX one can use ¿ and ¡ directly.

@PauloCereda Years ago an Italian started a similar project (I don't remember the name): his concern was a previewer that always opened the PDF at the size preferred by the user, not by the developer. It grew up nice, but then he discovered the newborn Skim and stopped developing his previewer. I believe he gave some hints for Skim.
@PauloCereda There had been many suggestions for the application from the GuIT forum. There was another previewer called TeXniscope born specifically for TeX, which could convert DVI files on the fly. It was very fast and "no frills": ideal for work. Unfortunately the project died.
@tohecz One of my favorite anecdotes. I was in charge of a Proceedings volume and one of the contributions was in Word. It was easier to convert it to LaTeX than some others which claimed to already be in LaTeX.

btw, to have a picture of how it works in such a publishing house: you get paid by a page. To be it a "considerable" job, you have to make one page in 15 minutes (including embedding in the jounral, synchonization of page numbers etc.)
@hey hump I wrote \begin{verbatim} in an answer but you deleted the question before I posted, beware tabs though (the code you posted had tabs not spaces)
they always seemed to me that way, in both onscreen and printed versions. As well, the twocolumn layout does not add to this (with one-column layout, you can have them centered like in amsart)

Hey guys I have read the questions on which LaTeX books to get. Is there anyone here with a personal opinion on the books by Kopka and Gratzer? Hmm, I can't quite decide between the two.
LaTeX is designed to allow interesting and good things (with packages etc.), but the default layout is not my cup of tea (or glass of juice, I should not drink tea this late)
