@mickep -- Neither have I. Around here, only harbor seals (chubby little animated sausages) and an occasional gray seal. On the west coast (and in aquaria) California sea lions, an occasional Steller's sea lion, and, far enough up the coast, sometimes fur seals.
@mickep -- Ah, rowing. An ordinary rowboat or dinghy, I assume. (Gordon was once stroke for his college eight. As for me, I favor canoes.) And this reminds me of a question sometimes head at zoos: "Do polar bears eat penguins?" (You can figure it out.)
@barbarabeeton Hehe, I've heard the one about polar bears before, so I won't reveal the answer. Regarding the boat, it is just an ordinary small boat. Nothing fancy.
