@nbro your first expression isn;t rendering showing a mathjax error, it will pick up the current font size but I'm not sure if for example <small> is allowed through the markdown processing
@nbro I don't think the site markdown has any way to change font size, I suppose you could replace \begin{aligN}by $\scriptsize\begin{aligned} if you really must
@nbro -- Assuming that the over-wide display is to get at most one equation number, I'd use the multline construction: \begin{multline} <material before = > \\ \begin{aligned} <all the other lines, beginning with = > \end{aligned} \end{multline}
Hi, which is the best way to add hyperlink text to cross-reference a section? For example: ``` You will learn more about it \href{sec:relativity}{here} lipsum lipsum lipsum \section{Relativity} \label{sec:relativity} lipsum lipsum lipsum ```
I mean, what should be in the place of \href command?
```
You will learn more about it \hyperref{sec:relativity}{here}
lipsum lipsum lipsum
\section*{Relativity} \label{sec:relativity}
lipsum lipsum lipsum
```
it didn't work properly in my doccument.
so I have put \phantomsection before the \section*. then It worked!
@DavidCarlisle hm, I don't think that pdfcrop should say nothing at all with a normal call, so probably the first idea to add a --quiet option is better.
@DavidCarlisle dvips is rather chatty. Imho the only one which never says something is ps2pdf. But if you think it is okay, we can do it. did you check the code already?
@UlrikeFischer the code change is tivial it says print $title and change is to say print $title if $verbose, so dvips is, I run it so infrequently I think I may leave the PR for a bit may see if heiko has a preference
@UlrikeFischer no but I think I should reach out to Heiko. I really think having three overlapping options quiet debug and verbose, for such a small script is too much so I'd rather simply do nothing than add a new option (I think) but ...
@raf nameref pakage comes with hyperef there are also autorec cleveref varioref any of them that make additional text generally make the additional text part of the link text
@Flow pgf for loop makes each item a group so it is like {...} so all settings lost at each iteration. (theer are lost of more useful loop constricts available)
@AlanMunn -- I found this thought-provoking: npr.org/sections/goatsandsoda/2021/05/16/995963311/… Is it just me, or do other people find it easier to understand someone with a "different" accent when the conversation is in person? (I sometimes find it particularly difficult over the phone.)
