@DavidCarlisle perhaps you should include the version in the documentation, not only the date, as the changes section refers to versions.

@DavidCarlisle I wonder how it could take so long for my package to create the error message due to the version change. That's the issue if you build formats for every document you use.

is there any difference between

?

I've read this https://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/45948/what-is-the-difference-between-hspace-fill-and-hfill
but i can't see a difference. would it maybe better to use `\hspace*{\floatsep}%`? what's the "most correct" one?

@sollniss \hspace{\fill} would be the same as \hfill. \hspace*{\fill} is slightly different, but I think in this case you wouldn't see a difference

@sollniss \hspace* has "anchors" to prevent TeX from removing it where TeX would normally remove a glue (as in the end of a paragraph, like above)

@sollniss Not necessarily. Sometimes it's desirable that the space is removed. In the case you showed above the space wouldn't be removed anyway, so with or without the * wouldn't make a difference

@PhelypeOleinik and @sollniss -- Technically, without the star, \hspace (or any "unprotected" space) will be ignored at the beginning of a line. So, in addition to after \par, it applies after a blank line, after \\ , and if it happens to occur at a line break in the middle of a paragraph. (Similarly with \vspace in vertical mode.)

@MarcelKrüger Regarding travis testing, it should be imho possible to install luahbtex from tlcontrib - we only need to ask Norbert to put them there regularly. Beside I just run a small test, and with the harfnode-code luahbtex outputs ....\TU/lmr/m/n/10 "61 instead of ....\TU/lmr/m/n/10 a. Is this to be expected?

Has anyone ever seen an "unsecure data" error when printing a PDF? Any idea what might cause it?

@PauloCereda It was generated on the printer/copier display when printing from a USB. Other than that, I have no better info (not me personally).

Omega (TeX)

Omega is an extension of the TeX typesetting system that uses the Basic Multilingual Plane of Unicode. It was authored by John Plaice and Yannis Haralambous after TeX development was frozen in 1991, primarily to enhance TeX's multilingual typesetting abilities. It includes a new 16-bit font encoding for TeX, as well as fonts (omlgc and omah) covering a wide range of alphabets. At the 2004 TeX Users Group conference, Plaice announced his decision to split off a new project (not yet public), while Haralambous continued to work on Omega proper. LaTeX for Omega is invoked as lambda. == Aleph and... ==
