Just a small question but... is it normal that my tex installation takes 12 hours to complete?

I'm sitting on a 25 mbit connection with a core i7 quad core, 16 gb ddr3, ssd laptop

@1010011010 It is big, but then you might have some network problems (to the download mirror). I would stop it and try to change server if I were you.
