@Nasser May i ask, on what kind of paper you are working on? Why do you need a table like this? Are there just numbers in your real document, or is this a constructed example? Cause, IMHO, nobody is going to read that.
@Johannes_B I am not following. I just simply wanted to document the test cases in one table. Can't Latex break a row that is too large? Is this what you are saying? I do not want to change the table, I'd like to have one table as is. If this is not possible in Latex, then fine. Thanks.
@Nasser No, LaTeX can't break row tables, not even with longtable, and I don't think it will ever be able to do that. Your usage of table for such a thing seems to be wrong (with my Copy Editor hat on)
@tohecz why is it wrong? I want to list test cases in a table. What if someone has 1000 test cases and they want to list in a table in different rows? Why is this so strange?

@tohecz ok, but I want to have the structure of a table. Have rows and columns and frame around them. Call it anything you like. Lets call it grid then. I do not know how to build a grid in latex. so I use a table.

@Nasser I see your point and I get it. But still, I certainly agree with Harish, the lines are distracting. I actually remove all vertical lines in tables when I edit them.
I would use a description, something like this (gimme a minute):

I see, so the idea is not to use longtable and go for free form solution using enumeration type, which does not have the restriction of the page breaking issues. no problem, will do that. Hi, like often, beamer is driving me mad. This time I try to handle multiline frametitle. If I have a multiline title then it's impossible to align the top of the title compared to a single line one. any hint?
P.S: I'm using varwidth to limit the width of the text
but I have similar issue with \vbox{\hsize=10cm\bfseries\strut\insertframetitle\strut} inside the frametitle definition

@egreg @JosephWright @PauloCereda I've been experiencing weird problems with the Finder: (i) open the window of a directory and no files are displayed (ii) move files to Trash can take upwards of 30 secs to complete. Have you guys encountered either of these?
@AlanMunn I had an issue with indexing: with my USB stick, Finder would try to index when I plugged in making things really slow (stick itself fine on e.g. work Windows system). Disabling indexing for the volume has cured the issue.
@JosephWright No there's no external disk at all. This just my main hard disk. But based on @Paulo 's advice I ran Onyx and it said my drive needed to be repaired which I've now done using DiskUtility, so maybe that will clear up the problem.
Speaking of documentation, I cannot wait to write a whole section on the new arara manual about why my conditionals fail and explaining about short circuit features. :)

@subhamsoni No, I love TikZ actually since I use trees a lot in my work and so it is invaluable. But it does add a lot of time to compiling your document so it's a good idea to avoid it for simple things if you can.
@izabera Uhhm, no. It requires that because of your usage. If you don't want to put a % at the end, then place \thispagestyle{empty} in the preamble. It will default to the first page...
@izabera It only sucks because of the incorrect input (\noindent is best not used at all, but if you are going to use it, you used it in the wrong place) ah I see @egreg already said same (he's the expert on % at end of line)
@izabera the class file decides when you need to indent, the document markup shouldn't change. article for example suppresses indentation after headings but not after \maketitle (as it assumes there will be a heading) if you want unindented initial paragraph you should arrange that \maketitle suppresses the initial indent, not use \noindent in the document.
