@JosephWright I guess there will be a setspace one as well

@DavidCarlisle ??

@DavidCarlisle Ah, right
@DavidCarlisle Time to move to latex3/..?

There is also an open PR at https://github.com/josephwright/beamer/pull/808

I'm not sure if the general idea of using setspace in beamer is such a good idea. Beamer assumes at several places a somewhat normal linespacing. For example the headline will overflow if used with a bigger spacing
\documentclass{beamer}

\usetheme{Warsaw}
\usepackage{setspace}
\doublespacing

\begin{document}

\section{title}
\begin{frame}
	abc

  test
\end{frame}	\section{title}
\begin{frame}
	abc
\end{frame}	\section{title}
\begin{frame}
	abc
\end{frame}	\section{title}
\begin{frame}
	abc
\end{frame}	\section{title}
\begin{frame}
	abc
\end{frame}

\end{document}

@samcarter_xmas_is_coming Definitely 'do not do this'

@JosephWright Do you want to comment there?

@samcarter_xmas_is_coming Go for it

10:16 AM
@JosephWright ok

@JosephWright not sure, I did wonder about moving to github.com/LaTeX-Package-Repositories as explicitly "adopted by team but not really core"

@DavidCarlisle Yes good idea

@samcarter_xmas_is_coming not doing that is good, but not falling over underfined command also good but you can close as completed by the change in setspace (which I'll push to ctan today)

@DavidCarlisle Thanks!

@DavidCarlisle Yay!!!

@DavidCarlisle Strange programming language ...

@JosephWright what must I do to run locally all latex 2e tests?

@UlrikeFischer Should just be l3build check from the top level

@JosephWright the problem was not that I didn't run the test, but that is failed online as amsmath was not installed for firstaid.

@UlrikeFischer Ah, that could happen :)

2:45 PM
@UlrikeFischer firstaid could/should? use tests that use the full texlive tree
@yo' I'm surprised you didn't answer this one: tex.stackexchange.com/a/667491/1090

@DavidCarlisle theoretically it does, the build.lua contains checksearch = true, but practically we don't install all packages, so one has to add e.g. amsmath in the tl_packages file.

@JosephWright @UlrikeFischer setspace git moved and 6.7b at ctan

@UlrikeFischer ah yes

@DavidCarlisle haha :)

Hello! With questions/answers at TeX-LaTeX StackExchange I wonder why background-color of inline-code (some ark grey) differs from background-color of code-blocks (some light gray). Is that a matter of web-design? Is that a matter of local settings of the internet-browser used by me?

10:57 PM
Forget about it - I just found the discussions on Meta Stackexchange.

11:11 PM
@UlrikeFischer Will the Bär give the welcome speech? :)

@samcarter_xmas_is_coming together with professore van Duck if they let them ;-)

@UlrikeFischer Brilliant :)

Hello everyone, in the pgfmanual, I am looking for how to color the lines drawing within a bar when using the "pattern=north west lines" key
Does anyone know how to do this?
