@CarLaTeX Sorry, only saw the message now. It seems that Paul G. provided an answer in a comment. In my opinion it's a feature request for Overleaf and as such it should be closed...

@CarLaTeX (also, we know about it, and we have recently grown our Product/UX team so we should be able to tackle these things more easily now -- it's easy on the dev side, but quite complex on the UI side...)
11:37
@yo' Don't worry
@yo' Great!

@CarLaTeX we're also excited :D

@JosephWright regarding the .str_set:N feature request: I can create a PR if you want.
@PauloCereda ohh :)
13:28
@Rmano what was your brilliant trick again to link to a specific section on texdoc.org?
14:07
@Skillmon you have to right click on the left bookmark column entry and "copy link"...

@AlanMunn -- tautology.
@AlanMunn or a platypus
@barbarabeeton Really? I hadn't noticed. :)
17:02
@JosephWright done. Added tests (based on the tests for .tl_set:N) and a changelog entry.
Hmmm.... what's happening? Is the @ElectionBot gone crazy?
@Rmano curious.
17:26
@AlanMunn I take you haven't withdrawn? Because the bot is saying you did.
@FaheemMitha no I haven’t withdrawn
@AlanMunn Bad bot.
Hello. Can anyone help me in installing this font package in ubuntu 20.04 LTS : ctan.org/pkg/mtp2lite?lang=en
@crskhr It seems that the "free" version link is dead.
17:41
@Rmano The link works for me :)
@Rmano Just checked.
@crskhr Ah, I tried to download the font but following the "Free" links gave me an error. If you were able to download a .tds.zip file or something similar, then you can install it in your $HOME/texmf directory: tex.stackexchange.com/questions/73016/…
@Rmano thanks i think i have do a manual installation. Could you please guide me through?
@UlrikeFischer Tried that one. It is not working :(
@UlrikeFischer It always gives me the same error mentioned in that link :(
17:56
@crskhr I would have told you the same of the answer cited by @UlrikeFischer.
@crskhr then check all the comments. You got it working last time at the end.
@UlrikeFischer True. Not sure how it worked. My HDD collapsed got a new one and tried installing it again and it doesn't work now :(
@crskhr you can try to just move/copy the texmf subtree contents into your TEXMFHOME directory.
@Rmano TEXMFHOME Directory? Does this mean /usr/share/texmf or something?
@crskhr No, under your HOME directory. In TeXLive on Ubuntu is $HOME/texmf --- if it does not exist you can create it. It is always searched before the system ones (I think)
18:04
@Rmano thanks. But that directory is empty. Should I just copy past all the texmf contents of the mtpro2 files inside the TEXMFHome directory?
@crskhr that works with the files distributed in .tds.zip format. In the case of your font, I do not know. I would just try to copy the contents of the texmf subdirectory in the distribution into your texmf.
@Rmano I have extracted the zip file and pasted in the TEXMFHOME directory. Now how should i proceed?
@crskhr no --- if the zipfile has the structure shown in tex.stackexchange.com/a/598649/38080, you must extract it elsewhere, and then copy the contents of the texmf subdirectory into your ~/texmf directory.
@Rmano Yes. Understood, I have done precisely that :)
Now try updmap --enable Map mtpro2.map. If the package didn't need anything more, it should work.
Otherwise I am at a loss...

@UlrikeFischer Oh I own the minitoc GH organisation.
@DavidCarlisle since when?
@UlrikeFischer 2018 apparently
@UlrikeFischer github.com/minitoc/minitoc I'm not listed at ctan I must have got uploader rights as looks like I made the last release.
@DavidCarlisle how did you found it again?
@UlrikeFischer just looking at all the fancy squares on my profile and saw one I didn't recognise
I tthink I'll move it to latex-package-repos
@DavidCarlisle yes. Has the bidi still a purpose (I have that too)?

@UlrikeFischer it is still the official home according to ctan for all the packages there except bidi and xepersian (which vafa reclaimed) but if he is feeling better and wands the others back I won't block that so I'm just leaving it untouched for now
@CarLaTeX get rid of the misplaced comma and you can have a pineapple pizza
@DavidCarlisle That's why I didn't get rid of it
@CarLaTeX yeah!
@samcarter :)
21:57
@AlanMunn ^^
