Doesn't the score sound like what the Westeros version of Latin might sound like?
So, following that line of thought led to wondering about the language of the Andals.

Hmm... I believe the season 6 final scene music was made to sound like it's a language-thing but is actually just random vowels put together-type-thing
Although I've got to roll my eyes at the comments asking for the liturgy to be all in Latin again

Certainly, the fact that I was not able to find any mention of the language of the Andals suggests that the Easter egg I was hoping to find does not exist.

Would have been but I can't find it on his blog, so I'm going to say that makes it less likely. Did find an amusing one where DJP forgot that he came up with a certain Dothraki word, which they included in the show though. The Monty Python thing was hilarious :)
Also, gems such as: Krubo. Nyke pāsan kesor udir drējor issa? Munna, nya Valyrio mirrī pungilla issa. “Dwarf. I believe that’s the word? Apologies, my Valyrian is a bit nostril.”

It begs the question - Is the Common Tongue still spoken in the Andalos area? North and east of the Free Cities and Slavers Bay (I think)?

For the same reason that Rhoynar left Rhoyne
The lands were taken up by Valyria. And subsequently by her daughters
IIRC merchant princes own estates in the Old Andalos and Rhoyne
It is interesting however that Firstmen south of the Wall took up the common tongue without any political pressure
This kind of change usually comes with a change in demographics or as a result of foreign rule
Neither of which was true with the North
What's more surprising is, it seems like Freefolk mostly converse in the Common tongue too while only the isolated clans like Thenn exclusively speak the old tongue along with the giants

Still weird given how fanatic the Sevener faithful are, none seem to go on a pilgrimage to Andalos where allegedly their gods walked
GRRM could do a Crusade-esque prequel on that, Andals taking back the "Holy Land" from "Heathen Essosi". Only to lose it again, and again, and again until they finally give it up
