@daviesgeek Okay, so is there any reason NOT to use the format JHSF+ and the partition map GUID? It seems like they are the most universal, but I want to know if there are any times I should avoid those. Also, if there is any good resource to learn more about all of these in general, I'd appreciate it.

Q: How to pick an SSD caddy on eBay?

BaumrI am looking to buy an inexpensive caddy to fit my SSD drive into the optical bay on my 15-inch MacBook Pro (Late 2011). eBay and that river in Brazil seem to be the best options, but how can I make sure it'll fit perfectly in a MBP? For example, I've noticed that some come with a plastic cover...

Is it possible to run this bash script in a MAC ? http://karve.in/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/The_Hindu_Delhi.sh
It was made for running in Gnu/Linux OS
Anyone with a MAC please give me the answer.

@DanialJose It's basically a shell script, so yes. It seems to use wget to fetch a web page, this isn't installed by default in OS X. You either need to switch to curl or install wget yourself.

and ghostscript (gs) isn't installed out of the box either, but again either install yourself or just open all pdfs in Preview (pdf reader) afterwards

which is the command for checking the status of a remote file in curl? = (wget --spider)

@DanialJose Without fetching it's contents?
I usually use -I. curl -I www.domain.tld/path/to/file.ext
I haven't used wget in years though, so I'm not 100% sure what --spider does anymore.
