@Tetsujin I've been following the smokey chat room almost since inception, using the bot's live feed to flag myself, never used the automated solution. I'm hoping the automated feature of smokey is eventually used to feed into SE's own system in the end to remove this kind of thing where bot flags end up looking to a mod as purely normal human-reviewed flags.

@grgarside - I've not been following it myself, but the spam recently has got beyond a joke, so I'm up for anything that can remove it sooner. I'm really hoping that by signing myself up for it that is realised - I'm not in any way positioned to join in with the actual 'smart' analysis - way beyond my skills - but if allowing my account to participate in the filtering will aid the overall effort, I'm proud to be a part of it.
