@Mark Ireland uses PR-STV. Easy to use, complicated to understand and to implement. And we hand-count the votes. Often many times (this is how PR-STV works).

The last presidental election was interesting, because the result was obvious very early in the process, but it took hours to officially declare it.

@DanielLawson @bmike is it no longer true that iCloud stores new photos for thirty days? razorianfly.com/2013/11/09/… "… up to 25,000 photos per month, and have them stored in the cloud for 30 days. …".

support.apple.com/kb/HT4858 states "… no limit to the number of photos you can upload to My Photo Stream over time …" (emphasis added by me). I'm concerned about possible misinterpretations.

@bmike "unlimited photos in the cloud" could be interpreted as "unlimited storage" for photos, which would be almost incredible to me. If the change was this month (November) then it may be prudent to wait until some time in December before clarifying.

It's not clear that my reading of that text necessarily implies what I stated it does...

However, those seem like crazy limits to have on a rolling 30 day window that only retains 1000 photos at any one time.
