Hello @I'll-Be-Back
@NathanLucy Aaah, yes. Out of interest, what part of design thinking would you categorise as not part of UX?

@JohnGB I have revised the question :)

Could we get more votes/arguments on this tag issue? I want to get the tag blacklisted but I'd rather show more consensus when I bring it to SE staff:

Q: Is the Design tag needed?

Ben BrockaSo there's a design tag and I'm struggling to imagine a situation where it'd actually be useful; there's much more specific and relevant tags like flat-design and responsive-design that have value, and already-kinda-nebulous tags like interaction-design and website-design, I can't think of a rea...

@I'll-Be-Back Sorry, I was away. I'll take a look at it now
@I'll-Be-Back Your question is still very much "I'll be doing x" or "It will be in y", which makes it specific to what you're trying to do, but doesn't pose a specific UX question.

Is said: "what the best approach to be able to add a new Item with multiple options at the same time?"
I think it is UX question.
Feel free to edit my question though to make it more UX question. I am kinda stuck now.

Your question is the entire writeup, not just a single sentence at the end.
Right now you're presenting your specific problem not a general UX problem.
This site is restricted to questions which have utility to other people, not just the asker.

Ok, I will try something. :)
I'll start with new question

Take a look at some of the other questions with decent votes to get an idea of what we mean.
Also think of this diagram but substitute programmer with UX practitioner

Hey UXers: Has anyone come across any case studies that talk about large site redesigns in an Agile enviornment?

Nope, but I'd be interested in seeing some

DA.
Specifically, I'm looking for examples that go through what foundational work the UX team might do before a line of code is written in the first sprint.
I'm in a situation where business feels that we can start the redesign from day one in sprint one, but fails to 'get' that a whole-site redesign requires a huge UI foundation to even start the sprints.

@JohnGB
@JohnGB, you asked "what part of design thinking would you categorise as not part of UX"
Good question (as one does here). I think the whole DT methodology applies to UX. But it also applies to other fields like education, for example: dschool.stanford.edu/blog/2009/08/18/…

8:29 PM
@DA. I think that would make for a good question

DA.
@CharlesWesley OK. I was worried it was too broad. But let me try and write it up as an actual question.

@NathanLucy I agree that it applies to other fields, but it seems that all the other fields are also in some way related to UX.

That's true, @JohnGB. Is relatedness a good enough reason to invite people with all sorts of Design Thinking questions to ask them on UX.SE?

What is fields empty (like sparce matrix),
What is sparce matrix fields?

11:10 PM
Sparce = a few well spaced
