@balancedmama I've rejected several of 5un5's edit.
Definitely agree they show a tendency to way over edit. Some change the meaning, others appear to be elaborate edits that merely demonstrate a different preference for sentence structure, "correcting" posts that are already grammatically correct
@Beofett Oh yeah, I was already sure I wasn't the only one because of the numbers of attempted edits that have been made.
Hope this looks good: @signature - Thank you so much for all the attempts you are making to make this site better with editing.
However, please be more careful to avoid changing the emphasis or meaning of the original post within your edits. Generally, if the grammar is already correct - even if you would prefer a different style, it is best to leave a post as is. When grammar does need changing, you still have to consider both meaning and emphasis in your changes. Thanks so much for your efforts.
The @username call only works when responding to the author of a question or answer, or to someone who has previously commented on that question or answer, afaik
I don't believe someone who merely made edits will receive the notifications
I feel like someone is reading a doctor's report out loud. In latin :-)
Okay B12 I have heard of, but all the rest... I can't address it if I don't understand it.
But, to answer your question: I recall that we had a meta discussion where we said that getting pregnant was part of parenting. We can just as well say that the pregnancy itself is on-topic, but I fear that we're opening up a can of medical-questions worms where the most appropriate response would be ask your gynecologist. So... I'm not entirely positive about making it on-topic.
