How to respond to your wife and son, whose response to lets get rid of toys that my son hasn't played with for years is don't buy any new ones- ignoring he asked for some of them specifically- he asked for bows and arrow multiple times. He only wants the toys when I try to get rid of some

@user2617804 Tactic we used was to pop toys that were unused for a while in boxes and hide them in the attic until they were forgotten about. Then a few months later, do the same again, but bring some toys back from the attic. Keeps things new and interesting for the kids
@anongoodnurse Ahh - so it gets sillier then? Fair enough :-)
