@anongoodnurse Most symptoms gone, although Claire's headache has now been continuous since early July, and I still have some breathing issues. All getting better though. Claire got her 3rd booster and flu jab - think I'm due mine in December
@anongoodnurse that's one of the things that worries me - I find myself trying to test my mental acuity...
Dad is still planting the bulbs - he's now got around 3km of roadside done! I'm more intermittent here - I like them and plant them in spring when I remember, and I do try to split the existing ones to propagate them, but they don't do so well in the clay soil we have here
@anongoodnurse It's well worth it - it is a beautiful country (sure, I may be biased, but I have been to all the continents except Greenland and have seen a lot of bits of a lot of countries)

@RoryAlsop I'm so sorry to hear that. For both of you, that's terrible! Poor Claire, does anything give her any relief? I'll scour the literature for any potential helpful tidbits if not.
@RoryAlsop I can and do test my acuity and can track its functioning. Instead of getting better at tasks with practice, I'm getting worse, no matter how hard I try. There's noting I can do but accept it. And I do. Sometimes the things I do are funny, but sometimes not so much. I've reached a point where I'm going to need to do some major lifestyle modifications if I'm to continue to live on my own. My major worry is my kids; I won't burden them. (What a fun conversation! Sorry.)
Your father's drive must be quite a sight! The soil in PA is mostly heavy clay, but the daffs do ok. I have to admit, though, that I never dig a hole without amending the soil with compost.
@RoryAlsop It's on my list. My list is short. Italy is my favorite country. I thought Ireland was enchanting. My son as been to both Ireland and Scotland, and he says Scotland is more beautiful. So you may be biased, but that doesn't mean you're not correct. :)
