@Stephie - I think I'd agree with David. That probably is a good question for the site - it's not just about covid, but about moral responsibility at the expense of personal reward.

As an aside, I'm not sure what the answer is - I have similar problems with my kids. They do sort of see the point, but emotionally they still feel the injustice of it all: "they get to go, that's not fair"
