OT no-repro, "I ended up downgrading to 22.04."
5:13 AM
@karel There could be a method to the madness - 22.04 EOS is June 2027, While 23.10 EOS is July 2024 .

@karel But definitely no-repro đź‘Ť. I CV

@sotirov What do you think is strange?
@BeastOfCaerbannog I then saw that @karel had already brought it here, but I cannot delete my message.

This question is not no-repro. The OP has provided a solution in the comments. I have asked the OP to post the solution as an answer. If they don't post it in the next days, I will post it as a CW.

@BeastOfCaerbannog The comments are not exactly helpful and not really on topic. But it may be just me. Here is just one example: askubuntu.com/questions/1495220/…
@BeastOfCaerbannog He comments on many questions, and most of his comments are like that. So far I haven't found a useful comment by him, but to be honest I haven't read all of them.
@sotirov Okay, I thought that this would be the issue, but wasn't sure if you had noticed something else as well. I agree that most (all?) of the comments are poorly written, generally irrelevant, and not useful overall.
We can flag them as no longer needed, but we could also custom-flag one of them and let the mods know about the problem.
@BeastOfCaerbannog I am watching him from several days, but wasn't sure if it's just me
@BeastOfCaerbannog Another example: askubuntu.com/questions/1494923/… In really if the Apache don't have read permission of the files, it will return error 403
@sotirov I have looked at about two dozens of their comments and didn't find anything that is actually useful.
@sotirov Or this
5:33 PM
@BeastOfCaerbannog this can actually be considered dangerous...
Yup
This option doesn't even exist.
Apart from some super-generic comments/suggestions that don't really offer much help, they suggest things that don't exist or actions that are dangerous. Also they never format their comments and they use way too many abbreviations.
@BeastOfCaerbannog So, I am going to flag some of his comments with custom text, something like: "All comments by this user are very generic, they don't really offer much help. Sometimes, they even suggest things that don't exist or actions that may be dangerous."
I hope you don't mind me using pasts of what you wrote :)
@sotirov Looks fine!
@sotirov Not at all! That's the reason I tried to sum it up! So we/you can have something more on concrete for the mods.
If you have anything more to add go ahead and add it! :)
@sotirov BTW, this question of yours is very well written and clear! Would you like a Python solution as well? It seems simple but interesting so I might try one.
5:57 PM
@BeastOfCaerbannog Thanks. I like what muru suggested and it works for me. But having a python suggestion may help someone else looking for something similar. Also my case is very specific, so having another solution will be helpful for someone who want to modify it.
